Since discovering scuba diving in 2014, He Jun has been diving for over a decade. Every dive has left him captivated by the vibrant underwater ecosystems and the incredible diversity of marine life. Over time, his passion evolved from simply observing these fascinating creatures to capturing each underwater experience through the lens of a camera.

As his photography skills deepened, so did his equipment. In 2018, He Jun founded his own photography studio, focusing primarily on portrait and wildlife photography. He developed a particular passion for underwater macro photography, which allows him to reveal the beauty of many rarely seen and mesmerizing marine creatures.

Through continuous practice and dedication, his work has gained increasing recognition in top photography competitions worldwide. His recent accolades include awards in 2024 The Nature Photography Contest, 2025 UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR hosted in the UK, a feature in the 2023 Shanghai DRT Underwater Star Gallery, the Gold Award in the Underwater Portrait Category at the 2024 Pingyao International Photography Festival, an Honorable Mention in the Underwater/Nature Category of the 2024 Tokyo International Photo Awards, recognition at the 2024 China Wildlife Image Annual Awards, and multiple exhibitions at DRT Underwater Star Galleries both domestically and internationally.

In addition to being a talented photographer, He Jun is also a highly experienced scuba instructor, certified as a PADI Master Instructor with specialties in over a dozen areas, including Public Safety Diving. His teaching experience goes beyond skills instruction—he also uses photography to showcase the beauty and diversity of marine life, helping divers capture their underwater moments professionally and meaningfully.
